          It is a blessing to have a horse like this come into your lives.  We received Tuchy as a wedding present from some good friends of ours and he really became part of the family.  In our minds, he is a tough act to follow.  He was not the most flashy horse but he was honest, dependable, and super kind. There wasn't a mean bone in his body. He sired some great traits in his colts....good feet, bone, nice hips, trainability, kinds eyes, willingness and that great disposition.  Our three kids learned to ride on this horse and he was a great babysitter!  One kid could be on him and another on the kids' gelding and they wouldn't have a problem all day.  Ride him with a mare in heat and he wouldn't do a thing until the work was done and he was unsaddled and turned out.  Being retired from hard use two years ago, our young son would go down and jump on him bareback with no halter or bridle and ride him all around.  Tuchy never tore up a mare and often times we would wean our colts with him.   These are the many traits we were looking for in a replacement stallion and we feel we have come darn close in San Peppy Jarvis.
